Saturday
–
A member of U.S. Junior Tours staff will
meet you at Lakeland College for registration and accommodations
assignment. Following check-in students and families will have an
opportunity to self-tour the lovely campus and/or attend the
2012 U.S. Women's Open at Black Wolf Run
(depending on arrival time). Later meet and greet
your new golf friends with an early evening reception and meal. An
early curfew will be set so all will be well rested.
Sunday
–
Breakfast as a group and a very special
treat. Families will have the option of attending championship day at the 2012 U.S. Women's Open at Black Wolf
Run with students. From start to finish see the entire day's action.
Students and family members opting to play Whistling Straits will be
assigned afternoon (2:00PM - 3:00PM) tee times.
Monday
–
Breakfast as a group and off to Kohler Golf Academy where Academy
Director Todd Wagner and his staff will welcome golfers for three
hours of golf instruction and practice. Lunch
in the Black Wolf Run
Clubhouse
and 9 holes on the Irish Course at Whistling Straits followed by
a
visit to the Kohler Company Showroom and Museum.
Dinner
on campus and free time to socialize with your new mates.
Tuesday
– Breakfast as a group and off to Kohler Golf Academy for
three hours of golf instruction and practice. Lunch
in the Black Wolf Run
Clubhouse
and 9 holes on the Irish Course at Whistling Straits.
Wednesday
– Breakfast as a group and off to Kohler Golf Academy for three
hours of golf instruction and practice. Lunch
in the Black Wolf Run
Clubhouse
and 18 holes on the River Course will follow. Relax this
evening in the hot tub and swimming pool at The American Club Sports
Core.
Thursday
– Breakfast as a group and off to Kohler Golf Academy for a
presentation on college selection and recruitment by PGA teaching
professionals, interns, and former college golfers.
The rest of the day includes golf instruction, practice, lunch
in the Black Wolf Run
Clubhouse,
and 9 holes on the Meadow Valleys Course. Dinner on campus and
time to pack.
Friday
– Breakfast as a group and
an 18-hole tournament on
The Meadow Valleys Course against local juniors followed by a
wrap-up
luncheon in the Black Wolf Run Clubhouse.
